Arik Einstein is considered to be one of the cornerstones of Israeli rock and folk music and regarded as the greatest, most popular, and most influential Israeli artist of all times. Arik loved Tel-Aviv and loved being close to the sea and lived the majority of his life here in ‘one square mile’ of it. The tour follows major stations in Arik’s life thorough his school years, childhood home, local basketball court, the house he lived in with his wife Sima and ends at Trumpeldor cemetery. We’ll hear about his life and career as a singer, actor and writer, and listen to interesting facts and stories he used to tell. We will try to learn what made, this once young man, whose ambition was to be an athlete, become the most beloved singer in Israel. The tour is accompanied by a guitar and we will sing along some of Arik’s songs.
