In the tour we will stroll along the famous and beautiful Rothschild Boulevard that was built by a weird coincidence. We will explore the urban history of Tel-Aviv though its variety of building’s styles: the Eclecticism of the 20’s, the International Style (Bauhaus) of the 30’s, the Brutalism of the 50’s and the modern buildings. We will discuss the principles, influences, techniques and the unique style of some of Tel Aviv’s architects: Berlin, Averbuch, Tishler, Magidovitch, Sharon, Richter and more..We will hear pieces of biography and stories from their personal lives combined with viewing special buildings, decorations, railings, balconies, frescos and ceramics handmade at ‘Betzalel’ art school.
