A working-class and dockworkers neighborhood of immigrants from the Balkans that became one of the ‘coolest’ neighborhoods In Tel Aviv. Home to artists, dropouts and rebels and for those who just want to take it easy. We will walk the Lewinsky market roaming through spices and herbs’ stalls and Turkish, Greek, East European and Persian delis and restaurants, some belonging to the same family almost 100 Years. This colorful diversity tells the stories of the various cultures and ethnicities that made up Tel-Aviv. During our walk we will sample about 5-6 different types of food, all vegetarian or dairy, which could be considered a light meal.
