The personal life story of the guide, a son of an Arab family from Jaffa, who had to leave their home due to the 1948 war. The family stayed in refugee camps and was one of the very few that was able to return to Jaffa and rebuild itself. The tour is a story of the guide’s choice to live and believe in ‘Sulkha’- forgiveness and coexistence of Arabs and Jews. This tour is for those who want to hear the Palestinian perspective and get to know and learn about the Islamic world. We will visit in the biggest and most impressive mosque in Jaffa, meet with the Imam and discuss Islam theology, principles and rituals and terms like: Sufism, Kaaba, Hajj and more. The tour can also include a traditional Palestinian meal at the home of a local Sheikh – who is a member of the guide’s family.
